installation/launcher problem

when i click download legions overdrive i get a zip file, i extract it some were on my hard disk,
open the legions launcher folder and run the launcher.exe (tried with and without run as admin)
and i get message LAuth does not respond and needs to be closed you get a message when theres a solution (YEAH RIGHT... over an eternity? they never came with any solution for any program for that kind of error) and i downloaded that framework 3 and 4, dotnet and those MS service pack crap 100 times over and over again... (SP1, 2 and 3) my PC says eveything is up to date and my pc has the requirements to play this game (i played this game when it still was on InstantAction... known as Fallen Empire: Legions) HELP ME PLEASE
i didnt had this problem on another PC

Also if you have run the launcher before, it runs in the background and you have to alt+tab onto it, as it does not show up on the task bar. If you try to run it again while it is in the background, it will crash and try to "find a solution".
(Has happened to me)

both hard disks
C:/programfiles/legions/
D:/programs/legions/
desktop/

my system specs:
Microsoft Windows Vista home premium
Intel Core 2 Quad processor CPU Q9400
Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT

88GB on C:/ drive
838GB on D:/ drive
i still have enough space to download it
3GB on C
600GB on D

FINALLY IT WORKS BACK FOR ME!!! :)
i rebooted my pc and now everything works fine, however... i started with some bad stuttering 3D sound but i switched it to OFF
now i can enjoy playing Legions Overdrive like anyone else without any trouble
