Game not smooth when running FRAPS.

My FPS is usually 25 without running FRAPS. I'm trying to make a capping vid, but the game isn't smooth whenever I'm recording. What settings should I use on FRAPS for the best video capture?

I'm not an expert when it comes to recording software, but I can tell you that it's very demanding. If your system is usually running on only 25 FPS, I wouldn't expect it to be able to record any form of satisfying ingame footage.

25 ping is barely playable! Yet alone recordable. Either lower your ingame resolution to the minimum, and lower graphic settings with legions lite.

Or, buy a new computer with a decent graphic card.

Fraps settings for good recording should be really full size, otherwise quality will suck bad if playing at a lower resolution.
