Yesterday, after playing TA all weekend, in 20 ping, I played Legions for about 10 minutes in 280 ping. It felt like I was playing underwater, and my short lived time playing Legions that day ended abruptly with me rage quitting. Don't think I'll be playing Legions again until Player Hosted Servers...

Never tried it for that long. But I'm sure that in order to get 10k+, you need an entire match, one very cooperative person, and short distance flag throwing/catching skills.
