Never really a fan of conky. I always used bash scripts but both work in relatively the same way.

It is actually quite nice. It runs pretty light considering it is enormous, over 2 GB of programs in the kde package. And you can even pres Alt + Shift + F12 to turn off compositing when needing the extra resources/cpu. Are you using dzen or the default i3 panel? The little time that I used i3...

+1000 for using Arch Linux. I could never get the hang of i3. I prefer XMonad/Dwm but I found myself wasting more time customizing it than actually using it so I made the difficult switch to KDE. Setup prior to the switch. Wallpaper is here: http://wallbase.cc/wallpaper/1825184

I saw this while working today and thought it was kinda funny. It was the only can on the shelf....the "One."

Just saw it. IMO it just felt like an over-hyped episode of the Power Rangers, the dialog and story line were just awful. Not to mention the sub-par acting. But those visuals and sound effects were the *dancing* bee's knees. With that said I haven't really been too fond of Guillermo del Toro's...

And how does this relate to the OP? This is about operating systems, not modding Tribes and the like.
