thats not really a good reason... how's the pricing for plans (do they have the phone you want as well?) call quality? customer service? where can i get and not get reception? those are some of the question you should be asking/looking for when deciding which provider to use.

mics are not expensive. at all. the one im currently using cost me $3. you would need a head set or bluetooth earpiece to chat on PSN anyways. which not everyone has.

the same could be said for the ps3. not everyone has a headset. theres no real point in having an in-game chat system when we already have a ts3 server.
