I tend to agree with Homingun on the general need for user-friendly terrain; unless the player does something stupid, they shouldn't be punished for trying to get from Point A to Point B. Maybe they won't get there as FAST because they didn't optimize their routes, but getting there with reduced...

Very true, hence, only Gorge has jumppads at the moment. If we were ever to introduce jumppads on other maps, they would almost assuredly be new maps, and would definitely be designed to incorporate them properly. The chances of us putting jumppads on classic maps is pretty much nil. =)

Yes, but the benefit of jumppads is that we can make them team-specific, thus catering them to certain roles (like chasing, for instance). Slopes work for everybody!

Aside from the fact that ball lightning is just a term to describe a phenomenon nobody understands anyway, what was recorded on those videos was remarkably controlled and utterly precise. I'm not a tin-foil kind of guy, but hot diggety, are those videos interesting.
