It gets locked at 60 when I run Fraps, it's usually much higher, and yea 1920x1200. I do remember the day's i played with 12 fps on a super shitty pc though, so I can sympathize with you.

Because what you say is official. Also, No I doubt it, the Half Size/Windowed Mode that was used on instantaction was pretty horrid. Although your probably going to see support for most full screen resolutions from 800x600 on.
