As far as I know, it has never been a part of the game and I've been playing since closed beta on IA. It has been discussed many times and has it's almost always been agreed that it wouldn't fit well with the game.

The T:A Supra crew isn't too bad atm. Played a few pugs with 'em and had fun like 4/5 times. The fifth time was just ridiculous tho, two guys on my team just got into a big fight and just made for a really poor experience. They just take it so seriously, got dayum, what's the point of playing...

Played with some of the Tribes guys today in a few pugs. Oh my, so serious.
