    12.04 (New Servers)

Sorry I never delivered on this, going through a rough time financially, I had enough money to fire up some servers back in 04/2012, but if you guys have ever heard about how much I prefer stability over unpredictability, you would know I probably made the right choice to just hold back and try...

    12.04 (New Servers)

I'm definitely interested in looking into a real Australian server, as well as a Chinese server. If you have any suggestions for VPS providers in these areas that are configurable (like how with EC2 you may pick how much memory, processor power and disk space individually), I would definitely...

Ah, well, I'm not interested in that kind of host. Game server hosting companies are generally shared and managed hosts, plus the costs are generally quite inflated because of it. I don't want either of those. A VPS gives me the driver's seat over the server, and I can do as much or as little as...

For this I will need a suggestion for a good provider as if you can view the list above, Amazon only provides their EC2 Nodes in the locations I specified above for the time being. :)

    12.04 (New Servers)

Going to be setting up some VPS nodes sometime late April, 2012 (willing to use them for Legions: Overdrive servers). If you have any preference or suggestion on who to buy from, or where to purchase them, feel free to leave a reply. :) I'm primarily interested in purchasing Amazon EC2...

Expect downtime sometime after April 26th, 2012, for operating system upgrades. However, all downtime should cease before May 10th, 2012. More precise dates and actual amount of hours we will be offline will be announced on April 26th, 2012. Just an advanced warning to avoid scheduling issues.

Despite the fact that the server did go offline, I did not upgrade the hardware; the hardware upgrade has been put on hold for up to a week until I can get the proper heatsink for the processor; I received an incompatible one.

Going to be shutting the server down to install hardware upgrades sometime between 19:00 and 20:30 (UTC -0800) tonight (6/23/11). We are doubling our RAM from 8GB to 16GB and our CPU power from one Quad-Core 2.13 GHz to two Quad-Core 2.13 GHz CPUs.

Please note I have a couple of other things running on the server, a couple which are very CPU intensive. I run a program that maxes out all four cores of the server's CPU for about 2 hours twice a day, starting at 00:00 and 12:00 Pacific Time (UTC -0800). However, I run them in "nice" mode at...

You all are welcome, I love the Legions/Tribes community, and share with them as much as possible. ;)

    Dedicated Servers (West Coast)

In my opinion, it's not really releasing if you are putting the binary on the server (not technically giving it to me), and especially since I wont even look in the user directory, or let alone be able to even know the name of the binary (in the event you use a VPS). :P

I don't know why they never did (yet).

    Dedicated Servers (West Coast)

...And necro. I'm going to be shutting my LA servers down soon, and will be putting a new server, more powerful than all my previous ones combined, up in Hurricane Electric's datacenters in Fremont, CA. Again, if the Legions team would simply like either: a user account on the Ubuntu-based...

    Dedicated Servers (West Coast)

Well, it appears there's no servers on the West Coast of the United States. I'm offering up my box, and I can easily install a copy of Windows on it in a virtual machine if needed. But if you're not willing to use others' servers just yet, can I request first dibs on public dedicated servers?
