I've posted about this before, but the thread was locked and I got little more than a pat on the head and a 'run along and play' sort of answer. Here's the first thread:

So I'm still having the problem. It never went away. For all that I was told my ping plotter pic showed a 'stable connection,' I still have constant freezes where I lose all speed, I can't move, I can't shoot... On larger maps, it makes the game completely unplayable--god forbid I should try running the flag on Mirage 'cause every time I get going fast (and often for no reason at all) the game stops moving, starts again, then jerks me back to where I was when the lag started, usually with my velocity set to zero.
So if the issue is on my side, what do I do? If it's ISP side, then what? How 'bout server side? I kinda think it's server side, since my second hop has a wide variance in speed. But if I knew, I wouldn't be posting here
