server dropped connection

hello
i am trying to enter a game
everything loads fine until i try to actually enter the game
then the loading screen drops and i get the popup message
"The server has dropped the connection: Authentication Rejected"
i posted this in another section and it got deleted so i am posting it here now
can someone please assist me with this so i can enter a game ty

Is your client updated? (maybe this has nothing to do with it, but I recall having had such an issue before because of mismatching client versions, I'm not sure which message it gave me though)
