I meant low* D:

then don't settle for that, upgrade the graphics!

the radeon 68xx series would be a good place to look (seymour suggested the 6870, which is a very good card) especially since the prices have all dropped because of the new cards coming out.

*sigh*

AMD cards are more bang for buck, especially since the new series of cards are out.

and AMD rarely design the cards looks, as manufacturers like putting on custom coolers (which is often also used on nvidia cards) AND if you care about your graphics card's looks rather than the price and performance, i don't think you have your priorities right.

The nice thing about the GPU market right now is that it's very competitive - both Nvidia and AMD are releasing some excellent products. As for aesthetics, my preference is waterblocks over air coolers. Hopefully one day Seymour will be able to get into the liquid cooling scene!

Liquid cooling scares me, i like to kick and beat the *chocolate cookies* out of my pc when it doesn't listen. Much like my wife.

*Scene*
Launch Nuclear Dawn.
Crashes.
Windows is sending useless information to no one that gives a damn.
I start kicking the *chocolate cookies* out of PC.
PC starts leaking fluid.
I hold it in my arms weeping and screaming medic!
*End scene*

Too much risk for my temper.

Only problem with this is that I am very tech newby so I'm scared to modify my computer. It reminds of the time when I opened up my favorite toy car as a child. Also what is liquid cooling o.o?

Seymour's the opposite with his PC. When something goes awry, he whispers sweet nothings into his PC's ear. "It's okay, it's not your fault."

Don't be too scared about modifying your computer, it's simple for the most part and there are plenty of online guides to, er, guide you with any kind of modification you want to do. Liquid cooling is using water instead of air to cool your PC components. It's on Seymour's to do list!

Yea i'll make sure to do that :D, also how much is a good graphics card that can run Ascend on atleast medium graphics. I have a 120< budget for a graphics card since everyone is telling me the one with the computer isn't very good D:.

I'm no computer genius, but I don't think you could find a card unless it was used for that price and that performance.

OR even a new 7700 card. They're cheaper than the old 6800 series and are about the same performance, but less power hungry and lower temps.
