Launcher question

Hi, I am new to the game (did not play it since it was on instantaction.com) soo I dont know if these kind of questions are allowed here in General.

First time i played yesterday, and my launcher did this 20 minute update (live.zip). now i start the game with the launcher and it starts downloading it again. Will this live.zip download every time I start the game with the launcher? Thanks

Have you extracted the launcher zip...? Or have you tried to run the launcher inside the freaking zip file?
