how do i switch back to the old reticles?

can someone explain in detail to me how to get the reticles back to the old ones? hating the new ones atm.

reticles are in the location - /live/client/gui/images/hud/reticles/

ask one of the devs uf they have the old reticles saved OR make your own OR download some new ones here (petrified's finncamo are good) -

and if you want the original reticles ask one of the devs of the game, but i would seriously recommend trying out some custom-made reticles from velocity's unnoficial mods thread.

I tried to open the 7z file as a notepad file before so every time i download it the computer automatically puts it as a notepad file. i've downloaded 7z.

what do i do?

Right click the file and select the "Open with..." option (depending on your version of Windows, you might have to shift-right-click on it). Select 7zip from the menu that appears, or if it doesn't appear, click "Browse" and find the 7zip executable. That should re-link .7z files with 7Zip, and you should be good to go!
