Anyone who has knowledge of manually removing virus/adware/malware/spyware can help me? My computer is getting worse every second I don't do something. Programs such as notepad, ms word, documents are freezing up and take up to a half to respond and now L:OD launcher is stuck at "Contacting Auth Server" so...PLEASE HELP ME!!!

My method of tackling viruses is googling the error message I get. From there a list of links should display with removal instructions. If it's just slowdown without a message, I'll go through the list of currently running services and google them on a secondary computer. That way I'll know if it's a legit service or something that I should be wary of.

Another common cause of slowdown is if you run multiplay anti-virus programs at once. They generally don't get along and will argue over services.

Remove all your anti viruses and anti spywares and get Malwarebytes/Superantispyware for spyware etc and Microsoft Security Essentials for viruses. All three are dynamite programs and way better than avast or norton or avg

You could try deleting system 32 if the virus hasn't attacked gotten in your Data Extracting Ruby Program (DERP).

(On a serious note, do what Jord said, scan everything, remove any viruses. If you don't get any help, go to computerhope.com and post on their forums, I had a pretty nasty virus and malwarebytes coudn't tackle it so they gave me some instructions and I have them logs and then they told me to post some really long command in command prompt and then do a follow up scan with another program and it was all gone, just my 2 cents, they're pretty professional)

if malwarebytes does not work or gets blocked from opening (by the virus), change the .exe extension of malwarebytes.exe to .bat
if its a particularly nasty virus, scan multiple times.

after you have sorted out the virus, use this -
http://www.revouninstaller.com/start_freeware_download.html
to uninstall your current antivirus and use this -
http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/security_essentials/default.aspx
instead as your main antivirus.

all stuff in above list is free.
if you are asked to pay, DON'T.

oh yeah, and change all your passwords NOT using your computer.
