GarageGames to Release T3D as Open Source

Triad

Legions Developer
Hopefully more experienced game developers start taking a look at Torque and even take the time to contribute. In my opinion, those working on the engine need to spend some time on the scripting capabilities because too much has to be done directly in the engine which takes up much more time due to its complex nature and having to write in C++. The scripting virtual machine could use some serious optimizations as well cause it's slow, and that's one of the good things about Unity because the scripts get compiled into .NET dll files that are jit compiled at runtime so you can do more with them.
