Game Fails to Launch, WinXP and ATIx800

After pressing "Play" after running Launcher.exe, game fails to launch and crashes.

System: AMD Athlon XP 2800+ 2.08 Ghz, Win XPx86 SP3, 1 gig Ram, ATI Radeon™ x800 AIW (dx9).

What I tried so far:
- reinstall dx9c
- install .net 4
- reinstall ATi Catalyst drivers
- reinstall game on another partition
- disable firewall and antivirus
- restart pc

What I did not try yet:
- run in Administrator mode (apparently I need to set an Admin password for windows)
- get every update for Windows (the Auto-updater hasn't complained for installs lately)

This pc is overdue for a hardware and os 'update', not to mention a format, but it does run stable otherwise and meets the minimum req. My main pc runs the game fine (aside the sound echoes and 'ghosts' following your jet/footsteps).


Any insight is appreciated. TIA

Your CPU doesn't appear to meet the minimum system requirements for Legions: Overdrive. Namely the Athlon XP's lack of SS3 (some nerdy techno jumbo thing). Minimum processor on the AMD side of things is a Athlon 64.
