The mod support is there to enable persionabled gaming experience for you. However there is a set "standard" that is set to players to satisfy most of the audience, so a few likes wont make something eglible for offical change.

Edit: Ah, sorry! Modding support is not offically there, but eventually it's there for the sake stated above.
