If you liked tribes, you'll enjoy this as long as you understand its not the same game. Player movement is the soul of this game. If you can get that down, you'll have a blast picking up the rest of the details.

Yeah. I played a bit when it first released and felt right at home. It felt a lot like Tribes in many ways. Just didn't have any time to really sink my teeth into it at the time. Then, when I wanted to come back and really dig in and see how the game progressed, woouldn't you know it, the game was POOF gone. Really looking forward to the re-release.

The newer sniper rifle specialist class had increased damage and a little more range to it. Also, downjetting is done with the left shift key. That's the default anyways, and I don't think there was any plan to change the controls. Also, when I finally found out about it, I was happy because it really gets the speed up. Try it out going through the middle of forgotten, you will reach ungodly speeds. Also, almost nobody has played legions since march, so you're not alone on this one.
Didn't know there was a cap on it xD Now I know why I wasn't hitting across the map ,-,

Sorry, I forgot completely, but how do I go about changing my class and weapons? I currently have rockets, the chain gun, and the grenade launcher.

Hit escape and you should see a list of classes in the center bottom of the screen. Select one and respawn/kill yourself.
