Any Guages like this?

Has anyone made any guages like this? With functiong needles, quarter marks and half marks.

Yes, health and energy. Gauges that are half a circle, and rotate instead of slide.

I think so to, would be sweet. Can glow effects be achieved on the hud? Make one gauge have a green glow, the other a blue glow.

Im sure a good photoshop artist can make it happen, it does not glow, but the look and shine make it glow.

hmmm i might cook up something for a skin. It doesn't use x or y cordinates to slide and not sure if there is an actual rotation variables. Rockey get to work

Download Rockey's midhud. You can easily mod it to make it like you want.

that uses x and y values... it would need some other value to work such as rotation. and the rotation would need to be oriented at one end, and not the center of the needle.

Without modifying the engine a tad bit you can't rotate gui elements.
So, no.

Edit: Even though you can see it being done in the game all the time. I just have no idea how as it is not one of the standard feats of the engine.

i didnt think there would be.. it would probably involve alot of geometry.

tell you what you might not be able to do a circular guage but i think i might be able to whip up something horizontal using a needle.
