“With UE3 and Flash, games built for high-end consoles can now run on the Web or as Facebook apps, reaching an enormous user base,” Epic CEO and founder Tim Sweeney said.

Sound familiar, anyone? ;)

This has better lighting.

Back on topic, I think it might be a really good idea. Tons of games are made with flash and most are bad bad bad but now maybe they don't have to be so bad.

You found a deferred lighting Bic? WOW! To be serious, don't underestimate Torque 3D's lighting. It's quite powerful. Keep in mind there is a big difference between a game developed using Flash and something made with a powerful game engine that has a delivery system using the Flash pipeline.

Don't make the game dev angry, you won't like him when he's angry.

Tbh torques lighting is ok. It's nothing special but it does hold it's own.

Torque 3D's lighting? It's better than OK. The system was based off Wolfgang's white paper. His concepts are nothing to sneeze at. For a while, the only two engines that had this kind of lighting were Torque 3D and Cryengine 2. UDK and Unity only recently caught up. The system is still advanced and keeps pace with others.
