I updated my bios.. It restarted and now, it's stuck on this screen. I am prepared that this is not recoverable. Is it bricked? Any advice? :/

So I got a new motherboard like 2 weeks ago, and was looking through their website. Found out I could update my bios, but first I decided to google some info first. Found out updating your bios could potentially cause problems (like this in your case). Since I'm no computer wizard, I'm sort of happy that I didn't do it since something like this could have happened. As far as your situation goes, I wish you good luck sir. Also, if it does get fixed, could you let us know how. :)

I hope this will help

Yeah I did the same as kevin I was about to update my BIOS and a popup came that this could potentially leave my pc in an unstable condition.

But yeah if your on that screen, I dont think there is a solve apart from trying to open the settings from the F8 smashing.

Good Luck ;)

Have you tried smashing the ESC key repeatedly on start up?
Have you also tried smashing the F12 key repeatedly?
Do you have a spare hard drive to test?
Reset CMOS?

If that pic doesn't help this video might:

If none of those helped then this article should fix your problem: http://www.wikihow.com/Reset-Your-BIOS

and if that did not help and you get a BOOTMGR is missing then you need Hiren's Boot CD/DVD, try downloading it, burning it on a DVD/CD from another computer (if you have one or go to your local library :D lol ) http://www.hirensbootcd.org/download/ look up videos on how to fix BOOTMGR with hirens (if you get that error), I haven't used it in a while but it's an easy fix. But resetting the CMOS should fix it.

I appreciate the help guys. Tried everything, however, nothing seems to have worked. I broke my laptop a while back, and I managed to fix it so for the time being, I'll be using this.

Once again, thank you!
