Also, as of today all the premium maps are unlocked. This means you can play them with anyone. Time to start dueling in QL :D

I'd guess relatively small community such as Tribes and people know each other very well. 2GD in other hand is very weird personality and he was kicked out from a show off event by organizers few months ago because he was making jokes out of the organisation(?) of the event.

Also there is a vid of him sleeping while casting, apparently very interesting, CS match. :D

I heard about that, I believe he was fired from casting MLG events after a remark about their technical problems. :p

Mainly because the skill involved in it. Not because how you aim and move, but actually making those strategic decisions on a fly which will win you the map. As you can see it's quite fast paced game so there is not much time to figure out what choice is the best one at certain situations. Those timers on a left are not actually shown for the players ingame so they have to remember the times when they were picked the last time(those respawn times are pre-set). That and then fight in the same time. Do you think you can do that?

I like high level tournaments in any games, MLG halo was always great to watch and starcraft 2 tournaments are also lots of fun, SpringRTS tournaments are fun to participate in :p

I didn't even realize quake live had tournaments but then I'm not really a fan of anything but clan arena in QL

Awesome games especially TDM final where it went all the way down to TB map. TB was dominated by Salivating Monstahs, where Noctis and Krysa gave Ice Climbers a hell. Really intense game and the skill level was very high ofcos. Couldn't stay up for the duel final, but it seems rapha was dominating it 3-1 vs Strenx. Can't find any VOD's but will post them here when they are uploaded.

One last bump. Added the unofficial VoD's which unfortunately includes only duel part of the tourney. I strongly suggest watching noctis demo of the 'Hidden Fortress' map which was TB map of the grand final match. Insane.
