pipeChallenge 1.0 by Pop (art) and Volt Cruelerz(code)

A love child of kz_ and surf maps from CS 1.6 with a legions twist.. see how fast you can
get to the top ! There are also smaller races on level one and two. You will get a time for
races when you cross the finish line . Feel free to post them in this thread.
'Official' record times though will have to have either fraps
or two reputable community members to verify the run.

For climbing all the way to the top , go on the ground inside a base to activate
that checkpoint. Stepping on the up arrow disc will teleport you up one base
if you have been there before. The timer to start the race to the top is across
from the teleporters.. look in chat to make sure its started and not reset.

I know there are some deadstops , espically in race 1.. as I went along making it I learned
which angles cause them and think I can avoid them if I continue to build. You can learn
how not to ski race 1 though and avoid them.

Core changes:
Make sure you are on beta to use the rings.. alpha is hardmode.
There is no fall damage.
Plasma does 0 damage ... use it as a climbing tool.

Hints: (select text below to read)
When you go through a ring it is going to shoot you where you are looking. Also some
rings will shoot you with more forward velocity than you might want.. hold your
back button to bleed off some speed and get more vertical out of it.


Extract everything to its proper folder either manually or by dragging out the 3 folders
to your base legions folder ( the one with Legions.exe ) and choose merge and replace.

To load the map use either the in game admin panel or type into console:
Server::loadMission("legions/data/missions/pipeChallenge.mis", "CTF");
