hello,
if i use a rocket to launch me and the same time the overdrive, my speed is limited by overdrive. A part of overdrive's energy it would not add when i use a rocket to increase my speed ?

I'm sure that's how it's supposed to be, overdrive has its own velocity if I'm not wrong, and no matter what the speed is when you enter it- your speed will be reduced to that.

Overdrive is always going to slow you down to 88 no matter how fast you're going above that speed. Overdrive is a tool that is meant to increase your mobility while turning rather than increase your velocity. If you want to gain speed, the boost core and boost grenades are more effective. You can also use rocket jumps or plasma launcher to increase your own speed.
