Could you send more packets? This isn't about how well you ping to a server as much as it is about how "well" the network to that server is. Remember justice pings fine for a while then lags out badly, because of the shoddy network to that server. To find these problems we need tests over time and many packets (200 or more). So each host will take a few minutes at least, depending on how much you want to do. The longer the test and the more packets sent, the better. <3 <3 <3

If you want me to do a long term test (1hrish?) I'm more than willing.

Yeah if you could that would be great, however if you could do it with a wired connection that would be more beneficial to the test. ~20 minutes for each should be enough though, thanks a lot!

Are you still looking for a host, or have you found one? What sort of upload and download speed does hosting require? What sort of statistics are you looking for with our PingPlotter results?

Edit: Here are my resuts in a text file

We narrowed down the host search to the pings we provided. We hit terabytes of data transfer per month, so we need at least 10mbit up/down and it needs to be commercial premium bandwidth served from a datacenter. We're looking to move to a host that sits on a tier 1 provider. In particular, we're looking for packet loss issues, as that is what causes the crashes at our current host.

Dallas seems like the front runner. (2 and 3 to be specific)

Related to the issue of hosts, why is the pug server on a different host than the public servers?

Because, The East Coast is the better coast, also the only coast that can't play on the justice servers with out consistently crashing.

We can have pugs on whatever server we want, we just want the east coast server :p
To better answer your question, Floks, the current host causes certain people to crash because of the packet loss. We can't have people crashing in PUGs (or at any time for that matter), so we use the east coast server instead. PUGs will be held on the new server when we move to it (when I'm around at least).
