Vehicles

Would someone like to ride vehicles in this game.

Hey ado, welcome to Legions Overdrive! Generally when making a suggestion, it's important to flesh out your idea. What kind of vehicles were you thinking?

Generally, I don't think vehicles fit in Legions as much as they do in Tribes - the terrain doesn't really permit it (except maybe like...Blade Run). Maps like Frostbyte, Nivosus, or Moonshine are too small to permit actual vehicle usage.

Legions is way too fast for vehicles, think about it, your player is moving at 90 metres per second on average (thats 200 miles per hour or 325 kilometres per hour) and you can get up to 300 metres per second (or higher if you're really good) that's nearly the speed of sound just on your player alone. If you add vehicles they would have to be able to be possibly 2(or more) times faster than a player otherwise they would be useless. So thats saying that the average vehicle would move 180-600 m/s. That is ridiculous. You would go base to base in a second or two, this has also been discussed before and you could find that out using the "Search" function up at the top right. Please do so from now on before posting a thread. Locked to prevent flaming/reopening a moot point.
