Let the man buy the alienware if he wants. Even though I could technically build my own desktop as well I don't feel comfortable doing it, even with instructions. I think that the alienware is the best immediate thing he could get. People are recommending alternate ones which is good but I think people need to stop saying the only viable option is to build his own.
