Teams and Times for the Legions: Overdrive Summer Extravaganza!

Most likely only one team shows up and they win tournament because other teams forfeit.
My 2 cents analysis, given people who use teamspeak and a New Jersey server:
The best starting 4 combination of all the teams, with solid additions in okenry and haus. Tied with shaska's and discord's team for 1/2/3 seeds. I don't know the other players though, so the important slots are 7 and 8.
Lots of snipers here, but a tad too many Europeans for my taste - to the point where it's detrimental. Solid defense in ucan and fireblasto, and cap in disci (but no teamspeak), but I think there are going to be problems killing in standoffs. Plus I think the number of high-pitched voices would get to me after the first match.
Yet another non-American based team; some great players given servers on their continents, but I certainly wouldn't have grabbed them this early, especially if on a New Jersey server. dobson capping is same on either continent, and karnage is still a great hof despite 260 ping in New Jersey. Will probably see a double hof tactic from them, but again, problems killing people with so many high-pingers.
This team is tied with discord's and apc's in my mind since its strength lies in its balance. The top 4 are probably a slight step below apc's, and a step above discord's, but the next 4 are above apc's and below discord's - hence the difficulty in giving one team the edge over the other. Vortex doesn't use a mic, and kb has 280 ping. furor and yami I don't know too well although they are in OwA together, but so far as I know they can play decent. The positions are pretty balanced, though either fire or yami are going to have to hof, and as good as fire is on hof, I've always preferred having him on chase.
Discord caught some lucky sleeper picks in #49 and #50, giving this team the best bottom 4 starters. pop and vanquish at home should be a pain in the ass to return on standoffs against, and with st3lth on the grab as well against tournament teams, the flag should be getting home every time except against apc's team. With anak this team might even go double hof, with discord on chase or lo, though I would tend towards chasing.

I like the app-1 and rock combination (2 big bois), and maniac on lo should be pretty nice. mightydeath, if that is mightysheep, is a good killer but inexperienced imo with teamplay, so if he gets coached, he'll be a nice pickup. lind is one of the best snipers in the game, but with a new high ping, I don't know how much he can hit. prototype might have to hof. Same with fireblasto's team - I think the European bias is going to hurt on the standoffs. I don't know who the 8th man is.

My #4 seed. Envy is #1 chaser imo (better returner than dl, though killing is probably the same), mabel a top lo, and kissy/severance good all-arounds. It'll be interesting to see the capping duo, especially since mabel usually prefers bowl party over clearing stand. severance aka style is solid home d, and kissy good lo/dueler. So the more inexperienced players are probably cappers; maybe this is what they'll work on in practice, or envy will have to step up to cap.

has been a little anxious the last week or so that i might not be able to take part as my connection has been *chocolate cookies* to put it bluntly but after this frustrating week of not being able to play properly unable to move at times in game i have now cracked the problem with a quick change of channel on my router
