Is it maybe possible that we edit the actual text that appears in the chatbox like in T1? For those of you that don't understand, in Tribes, it was possible to press the commands for "How'd that feel?" (a classic taunt) but have "Ya like?" appear as text in the chatbox. Is that possible here too?

You cant edit the messages from the default one since their script files are all compiled
But you could create your own voice pack just take a look at RockeyRex's Tribes 2 Voice Pack, there you can check how it is done
Or you ask some dev to give you the script files from the default ones
