Why can't people just make that own servers just like instantaction when it was still up?

it would be easier that way then doing a bunch of crap to make a server

We do not have the resources nor the time to replicate Instant Action's method of hosting games. However, server hosting is still possible, albeit the method is more traditional to PC gaming.
