First off, thanks to the crew who worked so hard to bring Legions back from the grave. It's a great game and didn't deserve to suffer an early demise.

Now, some of you who played when the game was under the InstantAction umbrella might remember my "Legions Hotkeys" scripts. What these do is provide some basic functionality that will hopefully be incorporated into the game itself in due time.

Many of these functions were considered standard in the classic predecessor to Legions and many other FPS games: Tribes.

For instance, while fun taunts are possible with the Quick Chat, the primary purpose of that portion of the script is to enhance teamwork by allowing for fast communication with a couple of key presses. Remember that this is a team game, so coordinating quickly with your teammates is always the way to go.

Here is a rundown of what is included in the scripts:

• Easy loadout selection
  • Select your desired class with touch of one button (active on next respawn)
  • Now works with six resolutions: 1920x1080, 1680x1050, 1440x900, 1280x1024, 1280x800, 1024x768
  • Default bindings:
    • (Numpad 0) Outrider - CHASER (CG/RL)
      
    • (Numpad 1) Outrider - STINGER (CG/GL)
      
    • (Numpad 2) Outrider - SNIPER (CG/LRII)
      
    • (Numpad 3) Outrider - BOMBER (RL/GL)
      
    • (Numpad 4) Raider - GUNNER (CG/RL/GL)
      
    • (Numpad 5) Raider - ROCKETEER (CG/RLII)
      
    • (Numpad 6) Raider - HORNET (RL/LR)
      
    • (Numpad 7) Raider - ROOSTER (GL/LR)
      
    • (Numpad 8) Sentinel - JUGGERNAUT (CG/RLII/GL)
      
    • (Numpad 9) Sentinel - DEFENDER (CG/RL/GLII)
      
  • Announces loadout to team via chat (enabled by default, can be disabled)

Quick chat hotkeys

• Flag/capper announcements
• General Chat / Taunts (customizable)
• Incoming enemy/capper warnings by direction; default bindings:
  • (CTRL+Numpad 2) "Incoming capper from BACK of base"
  • (CTRL+Numpad 4) "Incoming capper from LEFT SIDE of base"
  • (CTRL+Numpad 6) "Incoming capper from RIGHT SIDE of base"
  • (CTRL+Numpad 8) "Incoming capper from FRONT of base"

Any chance that you could include support for 800 x 600 resolutions? I can play on a bigger resolution, its because I prefer everything big.

Nice stuff, just a few questions
Does the quickchat thing make sounds or just auto types for you really quick?
Can you change the key binding, from lets say "Ctrl+Numpad8" To lets say the number "9" for example, will it still work?

At the moment, all this does is trigger the chat ... sounds are not enabled in the game yet. And yes, you can absolutely customize the binds however you like.

Does this change your loadout if you were typing the numbers in chat?
Or if you were outside Legions?
