Legions Crash on "Join"

Windows XP SP3 on Dell e1705 Inspiron Laptop
4 GB Ram
Dual Core 1.83 Ghz
Radeon ATI Mobility X1400

I can Auth fine. When I press "Join" the Legions.exe app crashes and generates a Windows crash report. The Launcher remains open.

Hey Ganyiki, try upgrading your DirectX to version 11 if you can, it seems to have fixed this issue for me (even though I was using version 10 before, which is supposedly supported)
I hope it works for you!

I discovered that I didn't have all the Windows updates because I had run out of space on my hard drive. I moved my paging file to a different partition and ran the updates. This included Microsoft .NET 1.1

I'm now able to load and play. I'm assuming it was due to .NET.

But if legions requires .NET 1.1, shouldn't this be an easy pre-flight check? Instead, I got an error log with no useful information in it.

So, consider it a suggestion...although, having all your updates isn't a bad place to start in any case.

I know this seems pretty simple, but it could save a few headaches: Is there any chance that you could also add DirectX 11 to the supported and recommended lists in the FAQ?
