The Redbull Sponsored jump of Felix Baumgartner jumped from around 24 1/2 (above 28,000 feet I think)miles above the surface of the earth.

I just randomly remembered about it today, it was supposed to go monday, but due to delays I forgot, then I look it up, watch it, and 20 minutes after I started, he jumped. Great timing.

Things like this, a great feat not just for one person, but for us all, is *dancing* awesome.

When I look at this story, I think about how useful it could be for NASA to learn from this great feat if we continued to put people in space and wanted a way to keep astronauts alive in case something goes wrong during flight to or from Earth.
