Okay, I've bee fiddling around with the flag cap file, trying to turn the FF8 victory fanfare to play when the flag is capped; however, now it doesn't play at all.
Let me explain: First, I thought there was simply some bit of script blocking the file from playing. This was not the case as I recently discovered that it was--in fact--Rockey's Improved CTF sounds mod that was blocking the file (the original sound file in the data/sound folder). So I then tried changing the files' name in the mod folder, which led to the file no longer playing, period. I then removed his mod to see if the replaced file would play without his script blocking it. It still did not play.
So I'm making this thread (that I hope Rockey reads) for some help on getting this file to work. The file itself is about an 8 seconds long, mp2 format, and 166kb in size.
iShrug.
