I think many people have been having this problem. Sometimes the energy isn't indicated by the bar on top after respawn. After a few seconds, it jumps to its true value.
I think I might have found where the problem lies and how to replicate it.
I have noticed that it happens to me when I die while in OD. After I respawn, the energy isn't shown until a few seconds later. This might have to do with how all the energy is depleted when activating OD. Maybe, the indicator message isn't sent right away after OD ends? Idk.
