Clan requirements?

I got invited to a couple clans.
Is it a necessity for me to have teamspeak/ventrilo or a mic? Cuz i have neither

Well for most of the clans; actually for pretty much all clans, either TS3 or Ventrilo or any other voice communication software is a requirement, especially if they are in competition. I can imagine how hard it would be having a clan scrim without that.

and a Mic is necessary for communication. w/o one you are practically worthless.

While having a microphone is not required to be on a team, it is more than certainly imperative to any game/scrim you might play. Having a microphone lets your team know how you're doing as a HoF, if you're on a chase, if you can't clear on LO, if you need a pass or when you're going to hit the flagstand as a capper. Again, you don't HAVE to have one. Not having one doesn't make you worthless, however, it just puts you at a disadvantage.
