Scale is going to be closer to T:A than Legions. This is a good thing because many people consider the scale in Legions to be one of the aspects that turned away new players. I think the reason we haven't and won't see gameplay videos for a little while is because there is not enough artwork...

I know they are looking at Reflex closely. Reflex had good word-of-mouth within the Quake community, but it didn't extend much past that. I do think the modern Tribes community is bigger than the CPMA community. We also frequent Reddit more which is nice, compared to Quake mostly hovering around...

They just released the light male bust. There are also medium and a heavy male busts. Sensors are objects in Tribes titles that grant you extra vision somehow (command map, or increased IFF range or whatever). The sensor art also included a cute animation someone likened to the Pixar lamp.

Hope they release the medium armor bust this Thursday. That was my favorite. Or some sort of environment asset. The sensor was really cool.

I think the majority of hardcore competitive games have similarly toxic communities. Legions isn't any different. The FPS-Z genre isn't any different. It's just the nature of competition.

I support 'Jet Force Z'. Though I wouldn't be opposed to 'Icarus' either. :p

The game's like 6 years old, took like a year off during that time, and never had a big playerbase to begin with. That's why it's dead.

This is probably what it will be. A F2P or buy once hybrid. Grind to get the stuff for pay for it all at once. Smite has this model and I think they even put it in *Tribes: Ass-End* like a year after release. DotA 2 would be the dream model but it requires a large initial playerbase to produce the...
